WHAT YOU NEED
For Star of David cookies...
SUPPLIES:
Star-shaped cookie cutter
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Baking Cocoa
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 container (16 oz.) prepared vanilla frosting
Blue food coloring
HOW TO DO IT
PREHEAT oven to 350° F.
COMBINE flour, cocoa and salt in small bowl
BEAT butter, sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
GRADUALLY beat in cocoa mixture.
SHAPE dough into two balls.
ROLL each ball of dough between two sheets of waxed paper to 1/4-inch thickness.
CUT with 2-inch star-shaped cookie cutter.
GATHER up scraps, re-roll and cut until you have about 36 cookies.
PLACE on ungreased baking sheets and pierce with fork.
BAKE for 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
COOL on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
DECORATE with frosting (if desired, tint frosting with blue food coloring)

Yield - 36 cookies
WHAT YOU NEED
For Holiday Tree Cookie...
INGREDIENTS:
1 pkg. (18 oz.) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Bar Dough
Decorator candies and sprinkles
HOW TO DO IT
PREHEAT oven to 325° F.
SHAPE dough into approximately 8-inch tree shape on ungreased baking sheet.
DECORATE with candies and sprinkles.
BAKE for 16 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown.
COOL on baking sheet for 2 minutes; carefully loosen cookie with spatula and cool on baking sheet completely.
Prep - 10 min
Bake - 18 min
Cool - 20 min
Yield – 1 large cookie
